Wyoming requires that applicants have actively practiced law for at least 3 of the last 5 years preceding their application to be eligible for admission by motion.

To qualify for admission by motion in Wyoming, applicants must have graduated from an ABA-accredited law school, passed the MPRE with a minimum score of 85, and be in active and good standing in another U.S. jurisdiction. Passing the Wyoming Bar Exam is not required for admission by motion.

Reciprocity with the applicant’s jurisdiction is not a disqualifying factor.

Attorneys admitted by motion must comply with Wyoming's Continuing Legal Education (CLE) requirements and pay annual bar dues to maintain their license. There is no requirement to retake the MPRE or the Wyoming Bar Exam once admitted.
