Scenario:
Contoso has purchased the proseware.com domain name and is establishing a new company called Proseware, Inc. to sell SharePoint apps.
Contoso will use the proseware.com domain for Office 365 services and is getting ready to federate with Microsoft Office 365.
All servers are running Windows Server 2008 R2 and the network infrastructure includes an Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) environment. Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS) is installed in the local area network, and two AD FS proxy servers are installed in the perimeter network.
SSO is required for Office 365.
We do need to add proseware.com as an Office 365 SSO domain; however, this is a challenging question to answer because none of the answers is a comprehensive solution. We would also need to set up the user accounts with a UPN of proseware.com because the users log in using user@contoso.com.
In order to decide how to change crawling, you must review information from the crawl log regarding the state of the content that has been indexed.
Make sure that any site may receive a web usage report that includes traffic information, search reports, and inventory reports.
Web Analytics Service is no longer supported.

2010 SharePoint Server web analytics
SharePoint 2013 does not provide web analytics, which were previously accessible in SharePoint Server 2010. SharePoint 2013 analytics processing is now a part of the Search service.
You can use BCS to establish a secure connection between your organization's on-premises SharePoint 2013 farm and your SharePoint Online 2013 tenancy in order to make line-of-business (LOB) data accessible to SharePoint applications and external lists in SharePoint Online. A SharePoint BCS Hybrid solution is what this is. Only one on-premises farm and one-way connections between online and on-premises are supported by SharePoint Online 2013 at this time. It is necessary to publish the LOB data as an OData source.
Slipstreaming SharePoint installation media allows you a reliable and repeatable approach to configure numerous servers from a single install source, which is typically a network share that will contain both the initial SharePoint installation media and the updates you select.
Follow these instructions to prepare the slipstream media on a network share called WS2012DCSPInstall:
To the SPInstall share, copy the original SharePoint 2013 installation media.
If you want to combine many updates, extract each one starting with the oldest.
update first, then perform each update as follows:
- Download the necessary software update package.
- Using the /extract switch, extract the update; for instance:
/extract:ws2012dcspinstallupdates sts2013-kb2752058-fullfile-x64-glb
IIS and the SharePoint timer service need to be restarted when the Security Token Service (STS) certificate for a SharePoint 2013 farm is changed.
