You should check the brake chambers, brake hoses and drum brakes for cracks.
Tires should be replaced when the tread separates, when there are broken valve stems and when the tread depth on your front tires is less than 4/32 deep.
On your vehicle inspection test, you should use a tire gauge to check that your tire is inflated properly.
