Accepted Answer

No, initial stops do not count as pull-ups

Answer

Stopping without changing direction is not penalized as a pull-up.

Question 4

Before you get out of the cab to check your position during a backing exercise, what should you do?

Accepted Answer

Put the vehicle in neutral and set the parking brake

Answer

Securing the vehicle before you leave the cab keeps it from rolling, and examiners check that you do this.

Question 5

When you exit the cab to look during the skills test, how should you climb down?

Accepted Answer

Facing the vehicle, keeping three points of contact

Answer

Facing the cab with three points of contact helps prevent falls, and you can be marked unsafe if you don't.
