CNL Native Plant Nursery

CNL Native Plant Nursery (254 Shoreline Highway, Tam Junction) was founded in 2010 and is owned by Dan Dufficy. It began as a landscaping company and now includes a nursery. The nursery propagates and cares for native plants organically. Its mission is to create natural landscapes that support wildlife and are environmentally sustainable. Its goal is to reduce the amount of fertilizer and pesticides that are leached into local waterways. The nursery also offers a variety of gardening supplies and garden art.

The website is a great resource for finding native plants for Marin County gardens. It features a database that lets you search for a plant by its family and by the environment in which it grows. It also offers information on growing the plant and lists nurseries that carry the plant.

While this site may not be as helpful as Calscape or CalFlora, it is still a useful tool for finding native plants in the area. It also provides virtual garden tours and a library of resources for native plant gardening.

CNL Exam

The clinical nurse leader (CNL) role requires a master’s degree in nursing. This allows RNs to take on leadership roles in the healthcare industry and serve as a resource for nurses across different units of care. CNLs focus on quality improvement, effective interprofessional care and evidence-based practice during their master’s program. They also need to pass the AACN’s CNL exam to earn certification as a clinical nurse leader.

The cnl exam is a three-hour computer-based test with 140 multiple-choice questions. The exam covers the three primary domains of the clinical nurse leader profession: nursing leadership, clinical outcomes management and care environment management. It is graded on a pass/fail basis.

The most popular group of CNL enrollees is individuals with bachelor’s degrees who wish to become nurses on the fast track. A number of CNL programs are designed for this group, and they graduate slightly more than half of the total CNL students each year. These graduates often find jobs as managers in medical and health service organizations. They can rise quickly in their careers, because they are qualified to lead the nurses at their facilities.

Clinical Nurse Leader Questions and Answers

In order to train highly qualified nurses who are committed to improving the quality and safety outcomes for patients or patient groups, the clinical nurse leader role in nursing is a relatively recent one that was created in the United States.

An RN who has earned an advanced degree—typically a master’s degree with a CNL specialization—and who manages the treatment of patients under their responsibility is known as a clinical nurse leader. A CNL primarily achieves this by working with the many caregivers who have direct patient contact.

One of the most important ways a CNL can impact patient care, other from directly caring for a group of patients, is through harmonizing the patient experience and removing barriers between staff and departments.

The typical CNL income, according to Payscale data from May 2026, is around $84,000 per year, or $36 per hour.

Clinical lead nurses must possess a nursing master’s degree at the very least. Obtaining a BSN and MSN separately or enrolling in an RN to MSN bridging program are two choices.

A master’s-educated nurse with specialization in developing and managing long-term care plans for patients and their multidisciplinary medical teams is known as a clinical nurse leader. You will be equipped to practice across the continuum of care in any healthcare setting as a clinical nurse leader.

• Coordinating all aspects of patient care
• Monitoring outcomes for patients
• Supervising the transfer of care for patients
• Evaluating risks and discovering
• Putting new internal policies into effect
