Question 1

What is the correct order to create and run a production set in Relativity?

Accepted Answer

Add data sources, stage, run

Answer

You create the production set, add data sources (usually saved searches), then stage it to lock the document list and assign Bates numbers, and then run it to create the production images and files.

Question 2

Which feature helps stop privileged documents from being produced by accident?

Accepted Answer

Production restrictions on the workspace, based on a saved search

Answer

Workspace production restrictions point to a saved search (for example, documents coded privileged). Relativity then flags those documents as conflicts before the production runs.

Question 3

In a production set, what does a placeholder do?

Accepted Answer

Produces a slip sheet image in place of a document, such as a native-only file or a withheld privileged document

Answer

Placeholders are slip sheets that stand in for a document's image. Common uses are natively produced spreadsheets or documents withheld for privilege.

Question 4

Which production setting controls the prefix and starting number stamped on each page?

Accepted Answer

Bates numbering settings

Answer

Bates numbering settings set the prefix, start number, number of digits and suffix used to number every produced page.

Question 5

Which object holds settings such as image output format and resolution for documents converted to images?

Accepted Answer

Imaging profile

Answer

An imaging profile sets how documents are imaged (for example, basic or native imaging, output format and dimensions). Imaging sets use it when they run.
