In the first 30 minutes (0.5 hours), the car travels 60 mph * 0.5 hours = 30 miles. The truck is faster by 70 mph - 60 mph = 10 mph. To catch up the 30-mile head start, the truck needs 30 miles / 10 mph = 3 hours.
2. Select the word that is most opposite in meaning to OSTENTATIOUS:
Ostentatious means designed to impress or attract notice through extravagant display. Modest means unassuming and not boastful — the direct opposite.
3. A 180-foot drainage pipe is laid by 6 men over the course of 3 days. What number of employees are required to install the same pipe in half a day?

Weighted average: (12×55,000 + 8×65,000) / 20 = (660,000 + 520,000) / 20 = 1,180,000 / 20 = $59,000.
