Since January 2024, the GMAT Focus Edition has fully replaced the older 4-section GMAT. The Analytical Writing Assessment (essay) was removed entirely, and the exam now has just 3 sections: Quantitative Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning, and Data Insights.
