During your recertification period of 2 years, you need to complete a minimum of 20 hours of CE. It must include 1 hour of Pharmacy Law and 1 hour of Patient Safety.
For the CE hours that you have obtained, it must be in pharmacy technician-specific subject matter as outlined by the PTCE Blueprint. It can also be those offered by ACPE-accredited providers that have a target audience designation “T.”
For CPhT recertification, you are required every two years to pay an application fee of $49.
For CPhT reinstatement, you are required every two years to pay an application fee of $49 plus a reinstatement fee of $40, which means that you’ll have to pay a total of $89.
