The CLEP History of the United States exam is a College Board test that allows students to earn college credit for introductory US history coursework. Most students need 4 to 8 weeks of focused study, depending on prior knowledge. Plan 1 to 2 hours daily reviewing textbooks like American Pageant or Give Me Liberty, watching Crash Course US History videos, and taking timed practice tests.
