- Passing score: 55% on each test (Meets Minimum Standard). Bands are ES 80-100%, MS 55-79%, AS 40-54%, DMS 0-39%. There is no 450/800 scale; that was the GED. (source)

Reading, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies are machine-scored and final. If you believe your Writing mark is wrong, you can ask the CAEC testing service to rescore it within 90 days of receiving your results for a $30 fee; the rescored mark then becomes your final score, even if it is lower than the original.
