1. You are facing north. You turn 270 degrees clockwise. Which direction are you now facing?

Starting at north, turning 270° clockwise: 90° = East, 180° = South, 270° = West.
2. In a survey, 45% of 200 people preferred tea, 30% preferred coffee, and the rest preferred juice. How many people preferred juice?
✓ 50
Juice = 100% - 45% - 30% = 25%. 25% of 200 = 50 people.
3. Which word does not belong in this group? Apple, Banana, Carrot, Grape, Strawberry
✓ Carrot
Carrot is a vegetable, while all the others (apple, banana, grape, strawberry) are fruits.
4. It takes 3 painters 8 hours to paint a fence. How long would it take 6 painters?
✓ 4 hours
Total work = 3 × 8 = 24 painter-hours. With 6 painters: 24 ÷ 6 = 4 hours.
