WVGSA (West Virginia General Summative Assessment) Test
The West Virginia General Summative Assessment (WVGSA) is administered by the West Virginia Department of Education to students in grades 3–8 and grade 11. It measures proficiency in English Language Arts and Mathematics aligned to West Virginia College and Career Readiness Standards. Science is assessed at grades 5, 8, and 11. Results are reported across four performance levels: Distinguished, Above Mastery, Mastery, and Partial Mastery.
