TDA - Text-Dependent Analysis
The Text-Dependent Analysis (TDA) assessment evaluates students' ability to closely read and analyze literary and informational texts, supporting their claims and arguments with direct evidence from the passage. It is used in multiple state assessments including Pennsylvania PSSA (grades 4–8), South Carolina EOCEP English 2, and Alaska PEAKS.
