  3. What is the least common multiple (LCM) of 4 and 6?

    Answer: 12

    The multiples of 4 are 4, 8, 12... and of 6 are 6, 12...; the least common multiple is 12.

  4. Evaluate the expression: 4 + 3² × 2

    Answer: 22

    Following order of operations: 3² = 9, then 9 × 2 = 18, then 4 + 18 = 22.

  5. What is 0.75 expressed as a fraction in simplest form?

    Answer: 3/4

    0.75 = 75/100, which simplifies to 3/4 by dividing both numerator and denominator by 25.

  6. A store sells pens for $1.25 each. If you buy 8 pens, how much will you spend?

    Answer: $10.00
