    Add 5 to both sides: 3x = 21. Divide both sides by 3: x = 7. Check: 3(7) - 5 = 21 - 5 = 16.

  5. A cylindrical water tank has a radius of 3 meters and a height of 5 meters. What is its volume? (Use π ≈ 3.14)

    Answer: 141.3 cubic meters

    Volume of a cylinder = πr²h = 3.14 × 3² × 5 = 3.14 × 9 × 5 = 141.3 cubic meters.
