The HWC Certifying Examination is developed by the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching (NBHWC) in partnership with the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME). It certifies health and wellness coaches by assessing competency across coaching presence, behavior change theories, coaching skills, ethics, and health and wellness knowledge.
