IEO (International English Olympiad) Exam
The IEO is conducted by the Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) for students in classes 1-12. For classes 5-12 (Level 1), the exam consists of 50 multiple-choice questions to be completed in 60 minutes. For classes 1-4, it is 35 questions in 60 minutes. Sections include Word and Structure Knowledge, Reading, Spoken and Written Expression, and an Achievers section. Top 5% from Level 1 qualify for Level 2. Topics include vocabulary, grammar, reading comprehension, spelling, idioms, sentence structure, punctuation, synonyms/antonyms, tenses, and parts of speech.
