The Alberta Health Care Aide Provincial Examination is a 100-question multiple-choice closed-book exam that assesses competency across 6 domains of the HCA Competency Profile (2018). Candidates have 2 hours to complete the exam, which is administered via computer-based testing at approved Meazure Learning test centres.
