For what it's worth — I've taken the CPSM twice now. First attempt I underestimated the practice test questions. Second time I focused almost exclusively on applied practice and passed comfortably. The difference is real.

Good thread. One thing I'd add: don't try to cram the night before. I did 4 hours the night before my CPSM and I think it hurt more than helped. Your brain needs consolidation time. Light review or full rest is better.

Just hit 74% on my latest practice run, which feels pretty solid considering I started at like 58% two weeks ago. I'm planning to sit the real exam in mid-August, so I've got about a month to close the gap. If you're scoring in the low 60s right now don't panic. Consistent practice sessions over shorter blocks worked way better for me than marathon study days. It's slow at first but the score jumps do come.

Planning to sit the real exam in early September if I can stay consistent.
