I keep seeing Feast buffet come up in every study guide and practice test for FEAST - Fighter Employment Aptitude Screening Test.
How heavily does it actually appear on the real exam? I've done about 8 full practice tests now and it shows up constantly, which makes me think it's a high-weight topic — but I want to confirm before I go deep on it.
What I've noticed: the questions on "feast buffet" in the practice tests are mostly conceptual, but occasionally they throw in these weird scenario questions where you have to apply the concept in an unusual situation. Those trip me up.
I'm also looking at "feast" as supplemental material. Is it worth going through that in detail or is the practice test approach enough?
Genuinely curious what percentage of the FEAST exam is dedicated to this area.
Passed FEAST 9 months ago. Happy to share what I remember.
On the "feast" stuff specifically — I found the practice tests here were actually harder than the real exam on those questions. Which was great because going in I felt more prepared than I needed to be.
The time pressure is real though. I came in with maybe 8 minutes to spare and that was after skipping the ones I wasn't sure about and coming back.
Don't try to cram the night before. Seriously. Last-minute stress makes you second-guess things you actually know.

For anyone finding this later: FEAST is passable with consistent effort even working full time. I studied 68 minutes a day for 11 weeks. The free air traffic controller math question and answers kept me honest about my actual gaps.
Coming back to this thread — just passed my FEAST yesterday. Everything about the feast practice test section is accurate. For anyone still studying, the free air traffic controller math question and answers was the closest thing to the real exam I found.
