Anyone else studying for CAPM in the next month? Want to study together
Taking my CAPM - Certified Associate in Project Engineering exam in 6 weeks and trying to find people at a similar stage to keep each other accountable.
I study better when I have someone to compare notes with. Currently going through "CAPM" and working on my weak areas — specifically around CAPM exam.
My schedule: 90 min of focused study every weekday, full practice test on weekends. I review every wrong answer and try to understand the why, not just memorize the right option.
If you're in a similar prep window and want to:
- Compare practice test scores weekly
- Share resources that actually helped
- Talk through confusing questions
Reply here or message me. Doesn't have to be formal — even just checking in once a week helps me stay on track.
Where is everyone at in their prep?
The free capm project management fundamentals helped me understand what the exam actually tests rather than just what the material covers.
Coming back to this thread because I just passed my CAPM yesterday. Everything people said about the exam prep section is spot on — that was the hardest part for me too. For anyone still studying, don't skip the applied questions in the free capm agile frameworks/methodologies questions and answers. They're the closest to what you'll actually see.
Quick update: just cleared 80% on my most recent CAPM practice set using free capm predictive plan based methodologies. Sitting for the real thing in 4 weeks. Feeling cautiously optimistic.

I'm in a similar boat — full-time job, two kids, so my study time is basically whatever I can carve out before 7am or during lunch. What's worked for me is just being really consistent with small chunks instead of trying to do marathon sessions on weekends. I've been using free capm project management fundamentals practice questions to fill gaps and honestly the repetition helps way more than re-reading the material.
Six weeks is totally doable if you stay consistent. I'd say don't skip the process groups even if they feel obvious at first, they show up everywhere. Happy to check in with you weekly if that helps with accountability!
I just passed mine two months ago while working full time, so I know exactly what you're going through. Honestly the hardest part wasn't the material, it was finding the time. I ended up doing 20-30 minutes every morning before work and then a longer session on Sunday afternoons. It's not glamorous but it adds up faster than you'd think.
The process groups tripped me up at first but once it clicked everything else kind of fell into place. If you're still shaky on any of that, just drill it relentlessly until it feels automatic. Good luck, you've got enough time if you stay consistent.
