Finally passed my Miscellaneous Certifications exam after three attempts — here's what worked

Okay so I've been lurking here for months and I figured it's time to actually contribute something. I passed my Miscellaneous Certifications exam last Tuesday after failing twice before, and honestly the difference was just... studying smarter instead of harder. First two times I crammed for a week each and scored in the low 60s. Not even close.

This time I gave myself six weeks and actually followed a real Miscellaneous Certifications study guide approach — broke topics down by domain, drilled weak areas daily, and used timed practice sessions to simulate the real thing. I spent probably 2-3 hours a day the last two weeks. What really helped was running through the Miscellaneous Certifications Miscellaneous Certifications Exam Preparation & Testing Strategies practice test multiple times and reviewing every single wrong answer, not just checking the score.

My target was a 75 and I ended up with an 81. Happy to share my full breakdown if anyone wants more detail on specific exam tips or how I organized my study schedule. What's everyone else using to prep?

Congrats! Three attempts takes real persistence, most people quit after two. I used a similar approach for mine — the timed practice tests are genuinely the best prep tool because the real exam has this weird pacing pressure that just reading material doesn't prepare you for. What domains were hardest for you? I got wrecked by the compliance section both times I sat for it.

72% on practice consistently should be fine — real exam tends to feel slightly harder but if you're hitting that range regularly you're not far off. Just make sure you're reviewing rationales for every wrong answer, not just your score. That's where the actual learning happens.

This is encouraging to read. I'm scheduled for my first attempt in about five weeks and I'm honestly freaking out a bit. Been using a Miscellaneous Certifications practice test bank and scoring around 68-72% consistently. Is that good enough to pass or should I push my date back? I keep going back and forth on it.
