Anyone found good free RCMS study resources besides the obvious ones?
I've already gone through the standard "RCMS" results on Google and most of it is just selling prep courses. Looking for actual free resources.
What I've tried:
- Practice tests here (solid, especially for RCMS - Registered Compliance Management Specialist Certification)
- A few YouTube channels but the quality is all over the place
- Reddit threads from 2+ years ago (some outdated)
What I haven't tried yet:
- The official RCMS study guide — is it actually worth reading cover to cover?
- Library resources — anyone actually found useful materials there?
- Specific YouTube channels that cover RCMS exam well
I don't mind paying for something that's genuinely better than free, but I want to max out free options first. Budget is tight.
What resources did you use that you'd actually recommend?

Failed my first attempt, came back to this thread for motivation. The advice about really understanding why wrong answers are wrong — not just memorizing the right ones — is the single best piece of advice I've seen for the RCMS. Rebuilding my prep around that principle now. Using registered compliance management specialist certification for the concept review.
Appreciate everyone sharing their experience here. I'm 3 weeks out from my RCMS exam date and feeling more confident after reading this. The consensus on exam prep being the hardest section matches what I'm seeing in my practice scores — going to put extra time there this week.
Quick update for this thread: just cleared 82% on my most recent RCMS practice set. The rcms regulatory frameworks & standards has been my main resource and the difficulty feels right — not easy enough to give false confidence, not so hard it's discouraging. Sitting for the real thing in 2 weeks.
The advice about understanding why wrong answers are wrong — not just memorizing right ones — is genuinely the best RCMS advice in this thread. Rebuilt my prep around that and it made a real difference.
