Okay so I'm a little embarrassed to admit this but I've failed the Alabama knowledge test at the DMV twice now and I'm honestly at my wits end. The first time I just kind of winged it, figured I'd driven enough in other states that I'd be fine. Wrong. Second time I read through the handbook once and still didn't make the cutoff. I got 70% and you need 80% to pass.
What really tripped me up were the road sign questions and the stuff about right-of-way at weird intersections. I've been using an AL DMV practice test this week and noticing I keep getting the same sign categories wrong. Does anyone have a solid study guide or a system that actually worked for them? I want to pass this on my third attempt next Thursday.
How many hours did you guys actually put in before you felt ready? I'm studying in 30-minute chunks after work so I can realistically do maybe 3-4 sessions before my appointment.
