Answer: 6 minutes
1,500 gallons ÷ 250 GPM = 6 minutes.
Firefighter Jones works a 24-hour shift every 3 days. How many hours does she work in a 30-day month?
Answer: 240 hours
30 days ÷ 3 days per shift = 10 shifts. 10 shifts × 24 hours = 240 hours.
A rescue team covers a search area of 3,600 square feet. If the team advances 6 feet per minute, and the search corridor is 12 feet wide, how many minutes does the search take?
Answer: 50 minutes
Length of corridor = 3,600 ÷ 12 = 300 feet. Time = 300 ÷ 6 = 50 minutes.

($45,000 ÷ $180,000) × 100 = 25%.
If a ladder company carries 3 ground ladders with lengths of 14 ft, 24 ft, and 35 ft, what is the average length of the ladders?
