EEI TECH Test
The EEI TECH Test is a pre-employment cognitive assessment developed by the Edison Electric Institute for technical occupations at electric utilities. It evaluates candidates across four timed sections—Mechanical Concepts, Graphic Problem Solving, Interpreting Diagrams, and Reasoning from Rules—covering spatial reasoning, electrical concepts, mathematical usage, reading comprehension, and safety knowledge. Used by utilities such as CenterPoint Energy, FirstEnergy, PG&E, and DTE Energy.
