CTBS Comprehensive Test of Basic Skills

The CTBS (Comprehensive Tests of Basic Skills) is a standardised achievement assessment published by CTB/McGraw-Hill and administered to K–12 students in the United States. It measures proficiency in reading comprehension, language mechanics and expression, mathematics computation, math concepts and problem-solving, science, social studies, vocabulary, spelling, study skills, and data interpretation. Results are used for diagnostic and placement purposes in schools.
