CPII Certified Public Infrastructure Inspector Exam
The CPII (Certified Public Infrastructure Inspector) exam is a 150-question, computer-based, proctored certification test administered by the American Public Works Association (APWA). Candidates have 3.5 hours to complete the exam. It covers three domains: Testing, Measurement & Inspection (43.5%), Project Planning & Management (25%), and Project Compliance & Documentation (31.5%). The exam assesses inspectors who oversee construction of public infrastructure such as roadways, utilities, bridges, and treatment facilities to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
