To convert directly to DXF format, utilize
an AUTOCAD drawing or existing Solidworks files.
Import the part drawing in DXF format into FastCAM to enable nesting and program conversion. Save the program name as the part’s drawing number to make calling and managing it easier.
Using a U disk, copy the converted program into the control cabinet of the machine tool.
Adjust the process settings to the material and thickness of the program you’ve chosen.
Start the software to cut once all the settings have been set. Prior to choosing the type of cutting nozzle, cutting speed, and piercing time, choose the parallelism of the steel plate and the track, and then modify the current of the plasma power supply in accordance with the thickness of the plate.
After cutting, shut off all sources of air and electricity. Clear the apparatus of any metal slag.
