NSPS-THSOA Certified Hydrographer (CH)
The Certified Hydrographer (CH) exam, administered by the NSPS-THSOA Hydrographer Board, tests professional competency across six hydrographic surveying domains including bathymetry, positioning, nautical science, tides, seafloor imagery, and hydrographic specifications. The open-book exam consists of 160 multiple-choice questions completed in a single 3-hour proctored session.
