Vaarbewijs 1 — The Vaarbewijs 1 (Klein Vaarbewijs I) is a Dutch inland waterways recreational boating license issued by the CBR (Centraal Bureau Rijvaardigheidsbewijzen). The real exam consists of 40 multiple-choice questions, must be completed within 60 minutes, and requires a minimum score of 30/40 (75%) to pass. It is mandatory for operating recreational motorized vessels with an engine exceeding 10 kW (approx. 13.6 hp) or vessels longer than 15 meters on Dutch inland waterways.
