UPC — The real exam is the AICP (American Institute of Certified Planners) Examination, administered by the American Planning Association (APA); it consists of 170 questions (150 scored + 20 unscored pretest) over 4 hours, covering professional practice, planning theory and law, plan making and implementation, and multiple specialty areas including housing, transportation, environmental planning, and economic development.
