UMAT — The UMAT (Undergraduate Medicine and Health Sciences Admission Test) was administered by the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) for entry into undergraduate medical, dental, and health sciences programs in Australia and New Zealand; it comprised three sections — Logical Reasoning & Problem Solving, Understanding People, and Non-Verbal Reasoning — totalling approximately 134 questions over 170 minutes with no fixed pass mark (scores reported as percentile ranks); it was replaced by the UCAT ANZ in 2019.
