ADI — The UK ADI Part 1 Theory Test is administered by the DVSA (Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency) and consists of 100 multiple-choice questions drawn from a DVSA question bank, with a pass mark of 85 out of 100 (85%), sat in 90 minutes; it also includes a separate Hazard Perception Test (14 clips, pass mark 57/75). Candidates who pass proceed to the ADI Part 2 (driving ability) and Part 3 (instructional ability) tests to join the Register of Approved Driving Instructors.
