Texas English Language Proficiency Assessment System (TELPAS)
TELPAS assesses the English language proficiency of English Learners (ELs) in Texas public schools across four language domains: listening, speaking, reading, and writing, classifying students into one of four proficiency levels from Beginning to Advanced High. The assessment is administered annually to all EL students in grades K–12.
