TACHS — The TACHS (Test for Admission into Catholic High Schools) is an admissions exam administered by the Archdiocese of New York and the Diocese of Brooklyn/Queens for 8th-grade students applying to Catholic high schools; it consists of approximately 200 questions across four sections — Reading, Language, Math, and Ability — administered in a single proctored session of approximately 2.5–3 hours.
