SIELE — The SIELE (Servicio Internacional de Evaluación de la Lengua Española) is a computer-adaptive Spanish proficiency exam co-administered by UNAM (Mexico), Universidad de Salamanca (Spain), Universidad de Buenos Aires (Argentina), and Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile; it assesses reading, listening, writing, and speaking across four modules on a 0–1000 scale aligned to CEFR levels A1–C1, with no single universal pass/fail threshold — scores map to proficiency bands (e.g., B1: 368–468, B2: 469–578).
