South Dakota CDL VIP Certification Exam

SD CDL — The South Dakota CDL General Knowledge exam is administered by the SD Department of Public Safety, Driver Licensing program, under FMCSA federal standards (49 CFR Part 383). The test consists of 50 questions; applicants must answer at least 40 correctly (80%) to pass. Additional endorsement tests (Air Brakes, HazMat, Tanker, Doubles/Triples, Passenger, School Bus) are required for specific vehicle types.
