RYA Short Range Certificate (SRC) VIP Practice Exam III

RYA SRC — The RYA Short Range Certificate (SRC) is issued under the authority of the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) and is the minimum qualification required by law to operate a VHF DSC marine radio on a UK-registered vessel. The exam is administered by RYA-approved training centres and consists of a written assessment covering GMDSS procedures, DSC operation, distress/urgency/safety communications, and relevant ITU Radio Regulations, plus a practical radio operating assessment.
