RDT — The Dietetic Technician, Registered (DTR) credentialing exam is administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR), the credentialing agency of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. The computer-based exam consists of 110 questions (85 scored + 25 unscored pretest items) with a 2-hour time limit, covering four domains: Principles of Dietetics, Nutrition Care for Individuals and Groups, Management of Food and Nutrition Programs and Services, and Food Service Systems.
