433A — The 433A Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal exam is administered by the Canadian Council of Directors of Apprenticeship (CCDA) under the Interprovincial Standards (Red Seal) Program. The actual exam consists of 150 multiple-choice questions to be completed in 3 hours, with a passing score of 70%. It is based on the National Occupational Analysis (NOA) for the trade and covers blocks including common occupational skills, rigging and hoisting, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical power transmission, pumps, compressors, prime movers, and process equipment.
