A floor plan shows a rectangular room 20 ft long and 15 ft wide. If a suspect hides in the far corner diagonally opposite the entrance, approximately how far is that corner from the entrance?
Answer: 25 ft
Using the Pythagorean theorem: √(20² + 15²) = √(400 + 225) = √625 = 25 ft.

Answer: 1200m
Perimeter = 2 × (400 + 300) = 2 × 700 = 1400m — wait, that is 1400m, so the correct answer is 1400m.
