    Answer: 2

    Answer: 24

  4. A teacher spends 2 hours and 45 minutes marking on Monday and 1 hour and 50 minutes on Tuesday. How long in total?

    Answer: 4 hours 35 minutes

    2h 45min + 1h 50min = 3h 95min = 4h 35min (since 95 min = 1h 35min).

  5. What is 3/7 as a decimal to two decimal places?

    Answer: 0.43

    3 ÷ 7 = 0.4285... which rounds to 0.43 to two decimal places.

  6. A pupil completes 24 out of 32 homework tasks. What fraction is this in its simplest form?
