PHTLS — The PHTLS (Prehospital Trauma Life Support) written certification exam is administered by the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT) in cooperation with the American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma (ACS-COT); it consists of 50 multiple-choice questions with a 74% passing threshold, and is based on the current PHTLS textbook edition.
