Patente Nautica VIP Certification Exam (Oltre 12 Miglia)

Patente Nautica — The Patente Nautica is issued by the Italian Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport (Ministero delle Infrastrutture e dei Trasporti). The written exam consists of 30 multiple-choice questions to be completed in 30 minutes; candidates may commit no more than 9 errors to pass (70% correct). The 'oltre 12 miglia' category — tested here — covers extended offshore navigation, celestial navigation basics, advanced meteorology, and full COLREGS compliance in addition to the standard coastal topics.
