18 ÷ 24 = 0.75, which is 75%.

Answer: 18
Each part is 63 ÷ 7 = 9, so red = 2 × 9 = 18.
What number is 30% of 90?
Answer: 27
0.30 × 90 = 27.
A population decreased from 800 to 600. What is the percent decrease?
Answer: 25%
The decrease of 200 divided by 800 equals 0.25, or 25%.
If a map scale is 1 inch : 50 miles, how many miles does 4 inches represent?
Answer: 200 miles
4 × 50 = 200 miles.

Answer: 20%
25 ÷ 125 = 0.20, which is 20%.
Two numbers are in the ratio 5:3 and add up to 64. What is the larger number?
