A rectangular training field is 120 meters long and 85 meters wide. What is its area in square meters?
Answer: 10,200
Area = 120 × 85 = 10,200 square meters.
A circular target has a radius of 7 cm. What is its approximate area? (Use π ≈ 3.14)
Answer: 153.86 cm²
Area = π × r² = 3.14 × 49 ≈ 153.86 cm².
A right triangle has legs measuring 9 cm and 12 cm. What is the length of the hypotenuse?
Answer: 15 cm
c = √(9² + 12²) = √(81 + 144) = √225 = 15 cm.
A cubic storage container has sides of 4 meters. What is its volume in cubic meters?
Answer: 64
Volume of a cube = side³ = 4³ = 64 cubic meters.
Two angles of a triangle measure 45° and 75°. What is the measure of the third angle?
Answer: 60°
180° − 45° − 75° = 60°.
A parallelogram has a base of 14 cm and a height of 6 cm. What is its area?
Answer: 84 cm²
Area = base × height = 14 × 6 = 84 cm².
What is the measure of each interior angle of a regular hexagon?
Answer: 120°
Interior angle = (6 − 2) × 180° ÷ 6 = 720° ÷ 6 = 120°.
