NNAT3 — The NNAT3 (Naglieri Nonverbal Ability Test, Third Edition) is published by Pearson and is a nonverbal cognitive abilities test used for gifted program identification in grades K–12. It contains 48 items across four question types — Pattern Completion, Reasoning by Analogy, Serial Reasoning, and Spatial Visualization — and produces a norm-referenced Naglieri Ability Index (NAI) score (mean 100, SD 15). There is no universal pass/fail cutoff; gifted programs typically require NAI 125–132+.
