NAPLEX (North American Pharmacist Licensure) Exam

The NAPLEX (North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination) is administered by the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP). The exam consists of 225 multiple-choice questions (200 scored, 25 unscored pretest items) with a 6-hour time limit. A scaled passing score of 75 is required. The exam covers six competency areas including pharmaceutical calculations, pharmacology and mechanism of action, therapeutic plan assessment, medication safety, patient counseling, and sterile/non-sterile compounding.
